MU Libraries Celebrates the Opening of the Cast Gallery at Ellis Library
We were happy to be on hand as the University of Missouri Libraries recently celebrated the opening of the Cast Gallery at Ellis Library. The Cast Gallery, featuring plaster cast copies of some of ancient classical civilization’s most notable sculptures, is one of several projects included in the library’s transformative master plan being designed and implemented by PGAV Architects. We continue to work with University Libraries on several exciting projects at Ellis, including a new flexible exhibit and events space, special collections reading room, and collections processing area and renovation of the library’s original West “Tier Stacks” to house portions of the Library’s Special Collections and University Archives in a new temperature and humidity-controlled environment.
