The Blue Valley Recreation Center is a new state-of-the-art facility serving the Overland Park Community and is in response to the Recreation Commission’s strategic plan to supplement private health and wellness programs. The primary goal of the design is to deliver a building that will provide long term value, through a highly flexible facility that is cost effective to operate and maintain.

The Center is being created through renovations and new construction and will offer a large multi-use court planned for tournament use, practice, and drop-in play for basketball, volleyball, gymnastics and other sports. The facility includes exercise studios, an elevated track, and multi-purpose rooms to accommodate fitness, yoga, arts and crafts, meetings, and special events.
