Brookdale Wornall Place is an independent senior living facility which sought to expand their services and provide assisted living care to their aging residents. To achieve this goal, PGAV worked with the Bookdale contractor, local code officials, and Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services personnel to develop a workable plan.  

Existing apartments were renovated into a mix of studio and one and two bedroom assisted living apartments. New congregate areas, including dining, living, activities, resident laundry, physical therapy and a serving kitchen, were created from existing apartments. The conversion included upgrading the sprinkler system and other life safety systems. Structural modifications, including removal of bearing walls, upgraded floor loading, and resolving limited overhead clearances were also developed and coordinated.
