The Mosier Hall Research Center Renovation provides a new home for the Institute of Computational Comparative Medicine/Nanotechnology Innovation Center of Kansas State (ICCM/NICKS) within the College of Veterinary Medicine’s Department of Anatomy and Physiology. The renovation included wet and computational research laboratories, laboratory support, offices, conferencing, and mechanical and electrical support areas.
As with any renovations, the notable challenges included: existing and new terrazzo flooring; low ceiling heights; and stark corridors. PGAV and the interiors team worked diligently to design new terrazzo floors that kept with the original design. The team created beautiful, yet functional ceilings in primary spaces, and revived the corridors using lighting and graphic solutions.
