PGAV has successfully provided architectural and planning services to Johnson County Community College since 1984. In addition to major new buildings, the firm has assisted with numerous renovation and addition projects, working within many of the campus buildings.
PGAV’s projects include: The Carlsen Center, a 165,000 GSF performing arts and education center which includes Yardley Hall, Polsky Theatre, the Bodker Black Box Theatre, and a recital hall; the 72,000 GSF Classroom Laboratory Building, a multi-purpose classroom and allied science laboratory facility; and the expansion and renovation of the Student Center (92,000 GSF), which houses the campus food service, bookstore and one stop “Student Success Center,” which pioneered a streamlined student services delivery model. Most recently, PGAV developed an addition to the Bookstore Warehouse and renovated the Carlsen Center for its twenty-five year anniversary.
