Kennedy Space Center is the world’s premiere spaceport and its Visitor Complex is a portal into the real-life, behind-the-scenes world of astronauts, rockets and the exploration of space. PGAV developed a 10-year strategic master plan for the entire guest experience intended to increase attendance and revenue, appeal to new audiences, and further the mission of NASA. The scope included strategic planning, market analysis, and the design of numerous exhibits, guided tours, live presentations, dining, retail, and products to achieve the educational mission of NASA and the complex’s business objectives. PGAV has completed two major projects emerging from the plan—an entry plaza and arrival experience and the Space Shuttle Atlantis which interprets the history of the shuttle program.
