Opened in 1962, the Undergraduate Residence Hall at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary provides a campus home for approximately 50 students. The Seminary has recently experienced a resurgence of growth that has led to strategic building renovations and construction of new facilities. PGAV was commissioned by the seminary to evaluate the feasibility of renovating the Undergraduate Residence Hall cost effectively over multiple summers. Based on study results, the Seminary concluded the next logical step was to create a 21st century living environment for its students. The renovation focused on creating an exceptional student living environment that helps recruit and welcome future students. In addition to providing basic living needs, the renovated dorm fosters learning and provide amenities that today’s students expect from campus student housing.
