The Red Leaf Inn is located on a private ranch in the Kansas City area. PGAV was hired to design multiple facilities on the property including the Inn, a hunting lodge, cabins, and a restaurant/bar. The inn includes 24 guest rooms and multiple conference spaces including a central lounge and dining area. The architectural style of the inn is in keeping with the ranch aesthetic and utilizes primarily wood and native stone. The building layout responds to the terrain and overlooks a pond developed as a site feature. A continuous porch wraps the perimeter of the building to provide transitional spaces. Interior details balance comfort with the utilitarian design of a ranch retreat.
