PGAV, in partnership with Odimo, provided programming, lab planning and conceptual design services as Owner’s Technical Consultant for UMKC’s School of Computing and Engineering’s Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise and Research Center addition to Flarsheim Hall. As home to the campus’ Free Enterprise Center, the 21st century STEM facility promotes science and engineering education, research, and workforce development. The facility features high-tech teaching and research laboratories, classrooms, studios, and makerspace supporting SCE’s five accredited degree programs in engineering and computer science. Technology intensive interdisciplinary research labs and learning environments allow faculty to optimize experiential learning opportunities in biomedical engineering, human physiology, electrical engineering, robotics, nanotechnology, virtual reality/augmented reality, computer engineering/Big Data, structural engineering, and entrepreneurial innovation.
