K-State Cats' Cupboard Project Addresses Student Food Insecurity

Food insecurity is a growing concern on college and university campuses. Lack of access to nutritious and affordable food can impact a student’s ability to focus on their studies. Many campuses are taking steps to address this need. We are incredibly excited to be working with the K-State campus community on Cats’ Cupboard. Already serving the campus community, the pantry is relocating to a bigger and more prominent location near campus. The adaptive reuse of an existing building will allow the pantry to provide immediate access to food, personal hygiene items, and gently used kitchen supplies at no cost.
